[01.06.13 - 30.06.13] Megan Roberts og Raymond Ghirardo - USA

“Submerged” is a new work in a series that continues a study of natural and unnatural landscapes, focusing on the intersection of light, sound and movement. Digital video is projected from above on shallow, irregular black “ponds” of water. The reflection on the surrounding walls of the natural textures and figurative sequences is altered by audio transduction of sound waves under the water that transforms the surface of the water into changing patterns of standing waves, interrupting the clarity of the reflected images, disrupting these artificial pools."
